Musician Don Pedigo’s music video for “Mama’s Wedding Gown” is now one of 32 finalists in CMT’s Music City Madness music video contest.

The contest bracket started with 64 videos competing for the grand prize.

“It feels great,” Pedigo said Tuesday afternoon. “I just feel honored to have made it this far and appreciate everyone’s votes.”

Round two votes must be submitted in the next five days, said Pedigo, a native of Freetown.

According to the rules of the contest available on the Web site, round two ends at noon Central Time, or 1 p.m. locally, Monday. There is a countdown clock to the end of round two on the contest Web site, madness.cmt.com. There are six rounds in the contest.

The contest results are based on the number of votes each video receives.

To watch the video, go to the Web site and click on “Vote” on the left side of the page; from there click on the Jimmy Wayne image (third from left), click “Start” and then click on “Don Pedigo” in the bracket.

To vote for Pedigo, click the orange “Vote” button underneath his video; after voting, click “Submit Your Votes” underneath the video section on the same page.

According to the contest Web site, the winning artist will “travel to Nashville to record their own CMT Studio 330 Sessions, play a private showcase with A&R executives at Valory Music and have a once-in-a-lifetime backstage experience with country superstar Reba.”
