The death of a 58-year-old Salem man Sunday at a residence in Vallonia does not involve foul play, authorities say.
Charles Marshall Williams Jr., 58, Salem, was found dead at a residence in the Vallonia area early Sunday morning.
An autopsy was conducted Monday morning by Dr. Wes Whittler at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, but the results of that autopsy were inconclusive, Jackson County Coroner Roger Wheeler said.
Wheeler said a ruling in Williams' death is pending the results of additional testing, including blood work.
He said investigators have no reason to suspect Williams died of foul play.
