Jennings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a break-in at the Biehle Electric building on County Road 900W, just north of U.S. 50 in Jennings County.

The break-in occurred at 10:09 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from Jennings County Sheriff Steve Hoppock.

The suspect cut a section of chain link fence to gain access into the secure lot and then broke into the building. Once inside, the building, the suspect activated motion sensors that activated the alarm. At this time nothing is known to have been taken from inside the building, the release stated.

Investigators have reviewed the recordings from the many cameras in and around the facility.

The sheriff’s department is asking for the community’s assistance if they were in the area of County Road 900W near the time of this alarm.

Cameras inside and outside the building show the suspect entering the building and leaving when the alarm activated.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hoppock or the Crime TIP Line at (812) 346-0342 if you wish to not leave a name.
