Residents speak out in honor of moms
Comments 0 | Recommend 0"Thank you" are two words many people will be saying to their mothers on Sunday.
In honor of Mother's Day, people were asked what makes their mother special, and they had the chance to say something to their mother.
Here's what they had to say Friday at the Seymour Library.
Kristina Roll, Seymour
"She instilled in me good values and she showed me what was important. She gave me a good upbringing and helped me prioritize and always was there for me during school. She supported me in anything I wanted to pursue and I know that I can always go to her with any problem. She's a special lady."
To her mother, Susan Graham, of Seymour: "I love you and thank you for always being there for me. You're the best mom that God could have ever given me. I wouldn't choose anybody else if I could choose. I would have chosen you."
Noel Roll, 4, Seymour
"Happy Mom's Day."
Sharianne Gayhart, Seymour
"She doesn't judge me. She'll do anything I would ask her to, and even when I make her mad, she still loves me. She's always helping me and being positive and being supportive."

"She takes care of my children when I'm not able to take care of them, when I'm working and everything. I just really appreciate her doing that."

"She makes dinner. She is with us in the night and reads books. She makes money for us."

"She's OK with when we get in trouble. She just doesn't make a big deal about it. She's doesn't hold a grudge."
