7 Car Pileup will take the stage from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday for the Friday Night Live concert series at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts.

The group consists of four young musicians. Kyle Kincer of Seymour is 14 years old. He is the son of James and Jill Kincer. He has been playing drums for about four years and has been with 7 Car Pileup for three years. He first started taking lessons at This Old Guitar with Matt Decker.

Kincer also enjoys playing piano, marimba and other percussion instruments in the Seymour High School band. He intends to follow his musical career as well as pursue a career in audio engineering after high school.

Alex Williams is 7 Car Pileup's lead singer and guitarist. He is 15 years old and is a sophomore at New Albany High School. He has been playing guitar for eight years and taking voice lessons for two years.

Dahkota Bungcayao, guitar and back up vocals, has been playing guitar for six years. He has also played the alto saxophone for three years. He is a freshman at Charlestown High School. He has played with 7 Car Pileup for two years.

Matthew Smith will be a sophomore at New Washington Middle/High School in the fall. He has been playing the bass guitar since he was in the fourth-grade.

7 Car Pileup has been together with its current membership for three years. The band performs all over southern Indiana and in Kentucky. They perform cover songs from artists such as John Mellencamp, RUSH, Pearl Jam, The Beatles and Tom Petty. They also are currently working on their sixth original song. They hope to begin recording their original tracks within the next few months.
