We must protect dogs, get them off of chains

I agree with the lady about dogs on a chain.
Dog lovers, write to your governor, state representatives, your congressman, your senator, whoever you can think of. It's election time, the best times to ask for a no-chain law.
In my neighborhood, I see poor dogs chained. They are never let off, and when that one dies, they go get another poor creature to torture and, yes, that's what it is. Some don't even have a dog house.
I'm not wealthy and I've fenced in my woods, my yard and before that a 20-by-60-foot pen. If you can't afford it, please do the dog a favor - don't get one. Also push for a law on spay and neuter (if not a licensed breeder). There are too many puppy mills. Too many animals are dumped, left to starve or become a wild pack of dogs, killing other chained dogs or farmers' livestock.
I know I'll make a lot of people angry, but if we don't take up for them, who will?
God gave us charge of these - do you think he's happy with what's being done?
If one woman can take prayer out of our schools, surely we can take a dog off a chain.
