Writer seeks help changing support laws

To the Editor:

I am trying to get the child support laws changed in Indiana. I do not work for our government in any way. I am a private citizen trying to make a better future for our children.

Did you know that a deadbeat parent has to be $15,000 behind before it is a felony? How are they going to pay that? We need tougher consequences and faster actions from our courts.
