Man says voters should consider their options
Comments 0 | Recommend 0To the Editor:
On Thursday, Aug. 20, I had the opportunity to attend a citizens forum hosted by Libertarian candidate Eric Schansberg. He is an economist who teaches at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany.
With the current economic situation being nearly first on every voter's mind, why wouldn't we elect an economist to deal with these problems?
With respect to both Mike Sodrel and Baron Hill, neither are economists. They must rely on advice of others, whether good or bad. It's like calling a roofer to do a plumbing job.
With Schansberg, this is his area of expertise; however, he is definitely not ignorant of other issues.
I believe if voters want real change, it's time to put away tradition and vote for someone who can really make a difference. Eric Schansberg is an excellent choice.
