Brownstown basketball teams remain ranked
Comments 0The Brownstown Central boys basketball team earned the third spot in Class 2A in The Associated Press polls, released on Monday.
The Braves (5-0) received 216 votes, and third place is their highest ranking this season. They were fourth last week.
The Lady Braves (6-2) also remained ranked, moving from 13th the past two weeks to 11th this week, receiving nine points. The girls polls were released on Monday by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association.
On Monday, the Brownstown boys will begin play in the Graber Post Buildings Classic at North Daviess High School. The Braves will play South Knox (3-4) at 4:30 p.m. in first-round action.
The Brownstown girls are in action tonight at Jennings County and will play next week in the Eastern Greene Tournament.
