Medora High School

Stormy Fisher says one of the main things she has enjoyed about playing basketball at Medora High School is how close the team is.

"I enjoy playing on a team that's close together for the most part," she said. "We usually get along pretty well, and I enjoy playing with the younger girls."

Fisher is in her second season as a starter for the Lady Hornets. She is playing forward this winter and said she enjoys playing inside. "I like taking the ball to the basket. I don't like shooting outside."
"I like playing against man-to-man defenses, but sometimes we don't screen right and we have trouble getting our shots."

Fisher scored six points against Rock Creek Christian and scored five points in three other games for her top point totals this season.

She said, "I would rather play zone when we're on defense. We play 2-1-2, and I'm in the center. Me and Emy (Thomas) rotate on that."

Fisher said it is going to take teamwork for the Hornets to win games. "We can win ball games if some of our players just dial in better. Our team seems to play more for stats."
