Seymour's Samons finishes in top 3,600 in Boston Marathon

Kelly Samons, of Seymour, placed 3,520th Monday in the 112th running of the Boston Marathon. A total of 25,283 competed in the race.
Samons ran the marathon in 3:16.21. Samons, 40, competed in the men's 40-49 division, and was 3,220 our 14,846 men, and 981 our of 5,219 men in his division.
Robert Cheriot of Kenya was the men's winner in 2:07.46, and Dire Tune of Ethiopia was the women's winner in 2:25.25.
