All adults and teens are invited to read and discuss “Hocus Pocus” by Kurt Vonnegut with the Books by Night group.
It will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Seymour Library.
This informal group, led by volunteer Tim Decker, talks about books the fourth Wednesday of every other month.
“Although it is set in the near future, ‘Hocus Pocus’ is the most topical, realistic Vonnegut novel ... and shows the struggle of an artist a little more impatient with allegory and more than a little impatient with his own country,” according to a New York Times book review.
Copies are available for checkout at the Seymour Library checkout desk. For information, call at 522-3412 ext. 1240.
