Column: 'Intentional Community' offers worship, spirituality in nontraditional manner

What began in a prayer circle of pastors is now taking new form in Seymour. The possibility of an Intentional Community found fertile ground among discussions with Seymour pastors.

Knowing there are believing people outside their walls who have not found expression for their faith, the Intentional Community offers the opportunity to practice the spiritual disciplines in a nontraditional manner.

The Intentional Community is neither a church plant nor an alternative to the traditional church. It is a discipleship effort that has known success around the world and is finding roots here in America. What we hope to discover is an experience of faith that can be duplicated in any of our churches and throughout our communities. Its unique design may make all that possible.
