Tribune Staff Reports

This Old Guitar will present a concert from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Royal Off-the-Square Theatre in Brownstown.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Jackson County Community Theatre building fund.

Members of This Old Guitar are Larry McDonald, drums; Steve Langlais, guitar and vocals; John Hill, bass guitar and vocals; Dave Gray, lead guitar and vocals; and Greg McDonald, vocals. The band members all live in Seymour and have been playing classic rock concerts in the area for eight years, most often for the benefit of local causes. The band performs cover songs from the 1960s and 1970s as well as current hits and original songs written by band member John Hill.

Jackson County Community Theatre, which has been producing plays for the community since 1971, moved into the old Royal Movie Theatre in 1974 after extensive renovations. An addition in 1988 gave the group much-needed backstage space.
