1966 queen candidates sought for ceremony

In preparation for the April 26 opening of a time capsule buried in 1966 at the Jackson County Courthouse in Brownstown, the bicentennial steering committee is trying to locate 1966 Brownstown Area Sesquicentennial event queen candidates.

So far, 39 queen candidates have been contacted or located. The committee needs help in locating the following candidates, whether living or deceased: Alice Eastin, Mrs. Loyd Jones, Mary Lewis, Elaine Mulberry, Mrs. John Nichols, Janet Speer and Sharon Stahl.

If you know the whereabouts, call Raymond Bachmann at 812-358-4461 by April 4.
