Two people have been arrested in connection with an eight-month investigation into heroin distribution.
Michael W. Bowling, 34, of North Vernon, faces three Class A felony counts of dealing in narcotics and three Class B felony counts of possession of narcotics. Jennifer L. Jones, 31, of North Vernon, his girlfriend, faces Class D felony charges of possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. Jones also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.
They were arrested Monday by the Jennings County Sheriff's Department officers. Initial hearings have not been scheduled.
