Weather, road concerns cause more closings

Two Jackson County school districts and Jennings County schools have canceled classes for Thursday.

Crothersville and Medora schools will not have class because of a combination of the cold and road conditions.

Medora Superintendent Tom Judd said conditions of rural roads have improved but remain slick and hazardous in some areas. He was also concerned about the cold temperatures in the Thursday morning forecast

The temperature was expected to drop to zero with wind chills as low as 18 below zero. The low Wednesday morning was 4 below zero.
