2 face federal meth charges



A local man and one from California have been indicted on federal charges in connection with methamphetamine dealing in the Jackson County area.

Jackie D. Brown, 43, of Seymour and Michael Davidson, 42, of Colton, California, both were arrested recently by the U.S. Marshals Service as the result of June 24 indictments.

Those indictments contained a charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine against each man. Brown also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and Davidson faces a charge of possession with intent to deliver.
