2 men face drug charges after Sunday arrests



Two Jennings County men face drug-related charges stemming from an incident Sunday in North Vernon, police report.

Robert Best, 39, of North Vernon, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Class B felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony; and dealing in marijuana and possession of marijuana, both Class D felonies, after the incident reported by Jennings County Officer Mike Mowery at 2:49 p.m. at State and Poplar streets.

James Hatter, 35, of North Vernon, also was cited for possession of marijuana and released after the incident, police said.
