Area school districts have canceled school for Friday because of continuing concerns about the cold weather.
Brownstown Central, Crothersville Community Schools, Medora Community Schools, Seymour Community Schools and Trinity Lutheran High School in Jackson County and Jennings County Schools will be closed for the fourth straight day this week.
The closure marks the 11th weather-related closing for Brownstown, Crothersville, Medora and Seymour this winter.
Medora Superintendent Tom Judd said the anticipated cold weather and wind chill readings prompted his decision to close Friday.
The low temperature Friday morning should be minus 2 degrees with wind chill readings of minus 13.
