CORYDON

Three of the five Brownstown Central girls golfers carded career-best 18-hole scores in Saturday’s Mid-Southern Conference Tournament at Old Capital Golf Club.

Senior Jordan Stevens lowered her personal-best score by one stroke with 88, tying for fourth place and earning all-MSC honors for the second straight year.

Junior Brooke Hattabaugh went from 123 last year at Old Capital in her first year of golf to 96 on Saturday, giving her MSC honorable mention.

Junior Kikki Collins was next for the Braves with her best 18-hole round, 105, helping the Braves place fourth out of 10 teams with a season-best 404.

Host Corydon Central won with 354, and the Panthers’ Kennedy Nash was medalist with 6-over 77.
