BROWNSTOWN

A Seymour woman was found guilty of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury Friday morning by Jackson Circuit Senior Judge Bill Vance.

Sabrina Baughman, 22, of the 400 block of Fountain Drive, now faces a sentencing hearing at 2:30 p.m. March 28 in Jackson Circuit Court.

Baughman’s bench trial began Tuesday and ended Wednesday. At the end of the trial, Vance delayed his ruling until Friday. In a bench trial, the judge hears the case instead of a jury.
