‘Homecoming’-themed Oktoberfest hits year 40

The 40th Seymour Oktoberfest parade will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in downtown Seymour.

The theme for the parade will be “Homecoming,” and the deadline to enter the parade is today. There are 14 categories. Antique tractors and cars must be at least 50 years old. Tractors are limited to the first 20 entries received.

Parade entry forms, and entry forms for all contests at the Oktoberfest are available at City Hall, 309 N. Chestnut St., or may be downloaded at www.seymouroktoberfest.com
