William Ollo played tennis his freshman and sophomore years at Brownstown Central High School, but he switched to cross-country his junior year.

He discovered, though, that he missed tennis, so he returned to that sport this fall, and he has had a lot of success playing No. 2 doubles with Kent Criminger.

“The only reason I left was because my parents wanted me to run,” he said. “We had a pretty good tennis team the past few years, and I didn’t get to play much (varsity).”

This fall, Ollo and Criminger won their first 12 matches.
