FREETOWN — State conservation officers are investigating a wreck involving a stolen all-terrain vehicle that left two girls hurt Tuesday night in the Freetown area.

Conservation Officer Phil Nale along with Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of the wreck around 9 p.m., Conservation Officer Jim Schreck said Wednesday. The wreck occurred on private property.

“Nathan Engelking, 35, of Freetown was driving the ATV in a field when he lost control,” Schreck said.
