Actions alone not key for salvation

Let’s talk to those people who know that a day of judgment awaits them and are depending on their own personal righteousness for their salvation, rather than Jesus’ perfect righteousness.

What you’re banking on is that the combination of your good deeds and good thoughts, coupled with your imperfect avoidance of sin, is sufficient for you to earn a place in heaven and thus avoid hell.

Right off the bat, you’re facing insurmountable problems.
