William Rodenbeck had one word to describe his plane ride Saturday morning at Freeman Municipal Airport.
“Awesome,” he said.
Rodenbeck, 11, of Seymour, and his dad, Tom, were just two of the more than 100 people who paid for plane rides during the annual Airport Awareness Day.
This was the second year in a row the Rodenbecks have attended the event.
“We think it’s great,” Tom said. “But I just take the backseat and enjoy the ride.”
