All Seasons Garden Club recently met at the home of Becky Hackman with Martha Wilson as co-hostess.
Before the business meeting, Hackman and Wilson served a supper of soup, sandwiches and dessert.
Wilson shared highlights of her recent trip to the Jersey Shore and New York City. Seventeen members responded to roll call.
Judy Bobb gave an update about floral arrangements shared with Lutheran Community Home residents. The club soon will receive schedules for garden cleanup at the home.
Possibilities of a variety of special events for this fall and next spring were addressed. Members plan to decorate the Christmas tree Nov. 25 at the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour. Becky Hackman and Jeanette Chastain are co-chairwomen of the event.
Sandy Kovener will be the club’s November hostess. Each member is to bring a soup, salad or dessert to share at the meeting.
Membership dues of $20 are due at the November meeting.
Jean Thompson’s birthday was recognized. Nita Bridges and Veronica Bowling received door prizes.
