All Thumbs Garden Club hears about costumes

All Thumbs Garden Club, Seymour, met recently at Barb Guthrie’s home with 14 members answering roll call.

The program was presented by Julie Bradley, who displayed many costumes used for the various plays at a local theater. She also displayed several quilts she made and brought many old hats, which she modeled.

It was reported the Janet Nolting plaque is completed and will be hung at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts.

Nancy Bishop won the “Glad You Came” prize.

Nancy Fleming and Sara Armstrong were hostesses, serving decorated cupcakes, cheese ball and various fruits and drinks.
