Alternative fuel station planned

A Fort Wayne company plans to open its fifth retail compressed natural gas station on Seymour’s far east side in mid-August.

Construction of that station at 420 Stevens Way by CNG Fuel Inc. should begin soon, a company spokesman said.

Rob Myers said compressed natural gas is an alternative fuel for trucks using diesel and is cheaper and better for the environment.
