The Sertoma Christmas Miracle Angel Tree will go up Monday at the Seymour Library.

The public is encouraged to stop by the library during December, pick up an angel that will list a child's first name, gender, age and a toy preference.

People then can shop for the child and drop off the unwrapped presents with the angel to Christmas Miracle headquarters.

Christmas Miracle Headquarters will be at 535 S. Jackson Park Drive on the west side of Jackson Park Shopping Center starting Monday. It will be open from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

The annual program collects donated toys and cash to distribute to children who may not otherwise receive holiday gifts because of family hardships.

Applications for the 2013 Sertoma Christmas Miracle are available across the county now and must be returned by Dec. 20.

Donations may be sent to Sertoma at P.O. Box 841 Seymour, IN 47274, or they may be dropped off at Sertoma headquarters.
