The annual Christmas Bird Count will be conducted Wednesday at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The daylong event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center. Participants do not have to stay throughout the day.

The count is a “bird inventory” of the refuge, in which both numbers of birds and species seen are recorded and tabulated.
