Seymour Community Schools board of trustees will get its first look at a $1.5 million expansion and renovation project today at Emerson Elementary School.

School board members will tour the four-classroom addition and get a peek at ongoing work at 5 p.m. before they meet for an executive session at 6 p.m. and regular meeting at 7 p.m. to choose how a similar project at Margaret R. Brown Elementary School will look.

Project manager Jamie Lake with Kovert Hawkins architects is scheduled to present options for the board’s consideration on how many and what kind of classrooms to add at Brown along with other renovations to be done at the school.
