Are Hoosier working poor left behind on health care?

Two very different announcements regarding the expansion of health care for low-income residents came from opposite sides of the Indiana-Michigan border on a recent Tuesday.

In Michigan, lawmakers finally gave in to their Republican Gov. Rick Snyder’s plea to expand the state’s Medicaid program to serve an additional 320,000 residents under the Affordable Care Act.
