Area children in need of volunteer advocates

Jackson County is looking for volunteers to serve as the ears and voices of abused and neglected children.

The volunteers are trained as court-appointed special advocates and would become part of the Jackson County CASA program.

Volunteer advocates are people who look out for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes because of parental abuse and neglect.
