Area schools report few problems

Jackson County schools generally reported no problems with ISTEP+ testing Thursday, although most schools were continuing to test at a 50 percent pace as recommended by the state.

Across the state, schools

reported minimal interruptions Thursday and as of 4 p.m. more than 345,000 testing sessions were completed, the Indiana Department of Education reported.

More than 1 million testing sessions have been completed this week, or about 41 percent of the total expected sessions for ISTEP+, the state reported.
