Judy Carter, of the Chestnut Ridge area south of Seymour, has always loved making art in any shape, size, color and medium.
From a beautiful watercolor painting to a piece of etched glass or pocked tin to a charcoal sketch, she infuses each piece with style and meaning.
In her latest work, Carter used the inspiration of downtown Seymour to create
wearable art in the form of a patchwork-like skirt. Instead of patches, though, she has collected T-shirts from downtown businesses, past and present, and has sewn the logos together into what she calls a T-skirt.
