Brownstown Fund for the Arts Summer Camp for children will be July 9-11 at

Lutheran Central School in Brownstown.

Camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Teachers will be Heidi Schneiderer in music, Robb Reynolds in ceramics, and Mariella and Ashley Wehmiller in drawing and painting.

Advance registration is recommended. A registration form is available at www.brownstownfundfor

thearts.org, by emailing drparman@music-theory.com or at the Brownstown Chamber of Commerce office.

The cost is $20 to participants, with the balance of expenses supported by contributions to the Brownstown Fund for the Arts.

The camp is open to children in first through fifth grade.

Supplies for all activities will be furnished. Participants are asked to dress appropriately, as art activities might be messy.

Parents are asked to meet with their children the first morning of the camp for a few minutes at the shelter garden near the school, shortly before 9 a.m.

Ceramics projects will be available for pickup on July 12.

The young artists should have an item appropriate for entry into the Jackson County Fair at the end of the camp. A midmorning snack will be available each day.
