Jackson County Community Theatre will conduct auditions for the February dinner theater show, “A Slice of the Blarney,” at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Royal Off-the-Square Theatre in Brownstown.

Parts are available for three men, three women, and one who could be either.

Characters to be cast are Shannon O’Leary, in his 60s, a crotchety old man; Douglas O’Leary, 40s to 50s, Shannon’s brother, a loudmouth; Katie O’Leary, 20s, Shannon’s youngest daughter, sweet and caring; Arlene O’Leary, Shannon’s headstrong ex-wife in her 50s; Sharon O’Leary, 30s, Shannon’s daughter, gypsy-like, fun, thinks she’s psychic; Patrick O’Leary, 20s, Shannon’s son with a chip on his shoulder; Colleen Sullivan, 30s, Shannon’s maid, pleasant, especially toward Shannon; Dr. Goldberg, male or female, age 30 to 80.
