Authorities: Patient, visitor arrested in hospital theft

A patient and his visitor are suspected of breaking into employee lockers at Schneck Medical Center over the weekend, police said.

Police arrested two Seymour residents early Monday in connection with the theft of a cellphone and other items from lockers at the Seymour hospital.

Christina Alcorn, 40, was charged with theft and possession of stolen property, and Richard D. Croslin, 47, was charged with theft, possession of stolen property, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to Jackson County Jail records.
