Bank president named to organization board



Independent Community Bankers of America recently announced that David M. Geis, president and chief executive officer of Jackson County Bank, Seymour, has been elected to the organization’s Federal Delegate Board.

In addition to helping shape and advocate for the organization’s national policy positions and programs, Geis’ duties include serving as a liaison between independent community bankers in Indiana and the Independent Community of Bankers staff and leadership in Washington, D.C., according to a news release from the organization.
