Old National Bank Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Old National Bank, is accepting applications for its current grant cycle.
Its primary focus areas are community and economic development and education programs that address critical community needs.
The foundation offers two competitive grant programs, which include community partnership grants and strategic grants.
The Strategic Grants Program provides grants of $5,000 or more to eligible nonprofit organizations to support initiatives directly aligned with the funding priorities of the foundation. The Community Partnership Grants Program provides smaller grants of up to $2,500 to eligible nonprofit organizations to support immediate project-based needs. Community Partnership Grants are accepted on a rolling basis, while Strategic Grants are awarded twice per year.
The deadline for initial applications to the Strategic Grants Program is Feb. 1.
In 2012, the Old National Bank Foundation awarded more than $800,000 to 134 nonprofit organizations in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
