City council seeks to annex 80 acres

Annexation once again is on the agenda for Seymour City Council.

Tonight’s meeting includes a public hearing and first official reading of an ordinance to annex 80 acres of property northeast of the city to be used for a major housing development.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at City Hall and is open to the public.

The annexation originally was introduced Aug. 26 and is being requested by developers Jeff Bush and Tom Greemann of Bushmann LLC in Columbus.
