Bluegrass, gospel on tap for Oktoberfest

Bluegrass and gospel music will be performed each evening of Seymour’s 40th annual Oktoberfest.

The festival is Oct. 4-6.

The music starts at 7 p.m. each day on the south stage in the 100 block of South Chestnut Street.

Sacred Calling and Common Ground plan to perform Oct. 4; Grandview Junction, Spare Change and Deer Creek will hit the stage Oct. 5. Bands set to play Oct. 6 are Destiny, Hoosier Hills and Lonesome Highway.

Those planning to attend may bring lawn chairs although some bleacher seating is available.
