Board hires interns, OKs grant



Head of Youth Services Lola Snyder gave a report on the summer reading program and future projects for the Kidz Korner and Teen Scene when the Jackson County Public Library board of trustees met May 19.

The “Spark a Reaction” summer reading program is online through July 31. Participants of all ages will receive prizes after reading 25 books or 250 minutes and 50 books or 500 minutes.

Readers of all ages may also complete rows on a bonus SPARK card for chances to win additional prizes.
