New Albany defeated Seymour’s football teams on Monday, winning the junior
varsity game 44-12 and the freshman game 20-0.
In the JV contest at Bulleit Stadium, Adam Bowman caught a pass from Tristan Sitterding for one of Seymour’s scores, and the other was from Alec Gorman to Zach Schlatterer.
In the freshman game at New Albany, the Bulldogs scored twice late in the fourth quarter in shutting out the Owls.
The Seymour JV team finished the season at 0-7, while the freshmen are 1-6 heading into Saturday’s final game of the season at home against Madison.
