Braves JV team records fourth shutout of season



Brownstown Central’s junior varsity football team improved to 7-0 Monday with a 33-0 win at Silver Creek. It was the Braves’ fourth shutout of the season.

The freshmen, however, dropped to 1-3 that night with a 38-6 loss to Milan at home.

In the JV game, Terry Anderson threw three touchdown passes. Christian Lockman had two TDs, while Filippo-Lippi Hutcheson and Caleb Wischmeier had one apiece. Austin Perry intercepted a Silver Creek pass and returned it 70 yards for a TD, and Skyller Lewis had three PATs.
