Braves beat Seymour in rivalry

Dustin Ruddick stayed consistent, shooting 2-over 38 to earn medalist honors; and Gray Nelson finished with 41.

But then Seymour’s scores jumped to 50 and above in Friday’s home match at Shadowood Golf Course, while county rival Brownstown Central had 39 from Lance Hackman and six other golfers shoot in the 40s to win 169-184.

Hackman had six pars and three bogeys. Nick Stahl was next for the Braves with 41, while Seth Berry had 44, and Zach Wehmiller and Levi Sweeney had 45s.
