A pair of Brownstown Central High School football players have been named to Indiana Football Coaches Association all-state teams.
Drew Shoemaker earned senior Class 3A defensive line accolades. He led the Braves with six sacks and 15 tackles for loss and had 28 total tackles, three fumble recoveries, three pass breakups and two blocked kicks.
Jacob Wilson received junior Class 3A defensive back honors. He had 54 tackles, including six for loss, one fumble recovery, one fumble caused and two pass breakups.
Both Brownstown players were named to The Tribune's all-county team.
They helped the Braves win Mid-Southern Conference and sectional titles and finish the season with a 12-1 record.
