BROWNSTOWN

It has been a few years since the Brownstown Central girls tennis team has been over the .500 mark in the Mid-Southern Conference.

On Thursday night, they moved to 3-2 in the MSC and 4-4 overall with a 3-2 win against Corydon Central at home.

“This was a match we needed to win,” Braves coach Erik Stangland said. “It gives us three matches in the conference, and that is something we needed this year.”
